Greetings Melinda,
May I suggest on behalf of JTH himself two books. One is called 'The Lakota Way', by Joseph Marshall III. Joseph is a friend of Johns and is the author of our new Children's Book & CD - 'How Not to Catch Fish'. Joseph is also starring in, and narrarating the 6-Part mini-series on TNT, 'Into The West'.
Another book is entitled 'Good Medicine', it is written by John Two-Hawks. It is a smaller book, yet rich with insight into Indigenous spirit and pathways.
Both books can be purchased at:
www.nativecircle.com
'The Lakota Way' is not available at this site (www.johntwohawks.com), but the 'Good Medicine' book is.
Thank you for your order of John's music, and for your post here. Hope this is of help to you!

Sincerely,
Allen Webb
