Subject: JTH music featured in 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee' movie

John Two-Hawks recently returned from Hollywood, where he attended the Red Carpet Premier of the powerful new HBO movie, "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee". John's contribution of his award-winning cedar flute music, drums and vocals to the score by composer George Clinton, were called the 'secret weapon' by Director Yves Simoneau in telling the emotional and tragic story of the Lakota Sioux people who lost their lives at Wounded Knee Creek in 1890.

John joined the musical team at Warner Brothers Studio on the Clint Eastwood sound stage in mid March to add the haunting flute music heard throughout the entire film. When asked how he felt about being involved with the film Two-Hawks remarked, "It was an incredible honor to be involved in the process of telling this very personal and true story. It was also wonderful to work with renowned composer George Clinton." George Clinton has scored the music for movies like 'The Santa Clause' and 'Austin Powers', to name a few.

The film, starring Adam Beach, Academy Award Winner Anna Paquin, Aidan Quinn and August Schellenberg will air on May 27th at 9:00 pm eastern time (8pm central) on HBO
