Dalnet's woes

Dalnet appears to be fubar once again. And with the recent merger of Rizon and EFnet. That leaves us with a question on where to meet. Let me know either on here or through any of the four major IM's My nick on all of 'em are the same as my IRC nick :). Or you can email me. I won't presume to suggest a network since I'm one of the newest members of the channel, so please let me know what you decide.

Thanks for bringing that up Qwik. I just received a msg from Wawoo as everyone knows as the channel founder and as Lulu calls him BIGBRATT!!!!. He has suggested that we move, but before any of us do, we need to get feedback from you guys on this, so please reply to this thread so we can check it out :)

Well I agree that we need to consider a move due to the problems on DALnet. We need to find a stable server that we can all connect to consistently. One thing we must consider though is that we are a young and growing channel. We need to be sure that any server we move too has a broad span of users so that our channel can continue to grow. However, the more users on a server the more potential for problems. If anyone knows of a reliable, popular server please post a response or notify an op. Good Luck and Happy Quizzing :)

I will be looking around this weekend at the different servers, I know that Undernet used to be almost as reliable as Dalnet was years ago. I will see if any of my old friends are still there and see what type of service Undernet is providing.

i've actually been trying to find a different network that we can move to for the past few days since DALnet has been so unstable lately and i have the following networks as a suggestion:
- irc.zerofuzion.net
- irc.axenet.org
check them out and see what u think of them
