Yes, personally when I go into competition I compete against myself more then others. I am always changing things. This is the 9th rebuild in 3 years. I have gone from a 143.6 dB. to 155.9 dB. and hopefully to about 157.5 dB. (all Term-Lab scores) in three years with little change in equipment. That reason why I have gained over 12 dB. is because I learn more and more and I keep finding ways to get louder without buying new equipment.

So every time I compete I am trying to hit higher then my last score. But it is also fun seeing what others have and how loud their equipment is. I just wish there were guys doing over 160 dB. around here. I would love to talk with them and see what they are doing.
