I think you're missing the whole point is to do something "Different" than everybody else. The idea of using music instead of test tones is two-fold: to get the spectators into it as well as the competitors, and second to give the kids a realistic idea of what kind of SPL they listen to every Friday night when they are driving around town. We get a lot of confused looks when spectators come to a competition and watch as the vehicles go "brrrrrp" and that's it. This is an idea we are throwing out there--maybe this would be something that just stock class would do--or be a seperate event/class all together. - Jeremy
