Subject: Dogs for sale.

Hi,

when I started this board my intention was simply to provide another forum for people to discuss Mondioring. With the recent interest in Mondio throughout North America it seemed the time was right.

I had no other agenda (personal or professional) and felt the board would naturally evolve into whatever form the community desired. I don't want to be Lord and Master and am happy to let people moderate themselves. The dogs for sale ads caught me a little off-guard and as someone who will be looking for a new dog this year, I have to admit I am of mixed emotions.

My personal feeling is to let them stay and as long as it doesn't get abused, continue to let them be posted. If I felt that the poster wasn't contributing anything to the greater community, but merely using the board to peddle puppies I may change my mind on that But for now, if it helps Glenn find the dog he wants then I believe we have done a good thing.

I would enjoy hearing the opinions of others and would defer to the community at large.
