Subject: Defense of handler as an OB exercise
In reply to: Sharon 's message, "Re: Sharon, you want to jump in here?" on 15:16:14 05/24/04 Mon

Im starting my second Mondio Bulldog right now. I'm taking Sharon's advice and will be doing lots of OB, lots of distractions, defense as an OB exercise, and no bites for quite a while. I guess I don't have the patience to wait a whole year.

I was talking to Glen on the phone a while ago and he told me to concentrate on OB and control, don't worry so much about the bites. A wise man, that guy. Francis Metcalf said the same thing: drill the defense exercise into the dog as an OB exercise.
