Subject: Candles. Lead danger warnings by government.

Click here: CNN.com - Health - U.S. regulators vote to ban lead wick candles - February 14, 2001

Until this article was reported, I was unaware of the danger poised by the wicks in candles. Reading the article should be a must for all parents because their children especially are at risk for lead poisoning. Heretofore it was reported that old paint that contained lead was the primary cause, but if most candles have wicks with lead content that permeates the air when the wick is lit then it behooves dissemination of this information to the public at large.
