 Chapter 1

Theresa just returned home from L.A. and after everyone hearing about the loss of Gwen and Ethan's baby is not too happy with her. They all witnessed the kiss she shared with Ethan on national television. She is trying desperatley to persuede them that Gwen nearly killed her and she just barely shook her off of Theresa to avoid being strangled when Gwen took the tragic fall.

"What in the world were you doing there interfering with Gwen and Ethan?" Pilar announced. Theresa replied, "You know very well that I went out there to try to get over the only man that I will ever love. I was there a week before they even showed up. I did not even know that they were going to go there. Where do you get off blaming me for this mishap?" "Because you are my daugter and I know you better than I know myself," exclaimed Pilar. "You don't even know the half of it," replied Theresa. 'If she only knew what I went through out there maybe she would understand that I no longer am after Ethan, Theresa thought. Theresa thought about her many talks with Fox, Ethan's half-brother. Fox was always reassuring her that Ethan was always a player and that he always got what he wanted. Ethan had tried to make Fox out to be the jerk so that the ladies would be after him. Fox was actually a caring, understanding, individual. Fox always told Theresa that she was beautiful, even when she was in sweat pants and a t-shirt. They had become best friends and enjoyed each others presance. Fox has had a crush on Theresa for some time now. He has envied the fact that his ruthless half brother has had the affection of the beautiful brunette. He decided that he was going to woo Theresa if it was the last thing he was going to do. He decided that tonight was the night he was gonna profess his love to her.
