3Com Expects Q4 Revenues Below Estimates - Update [COMS]

5/29/03 5:25:56 PM After the close of trading Thursday, 3Com Corp. (COMS), a provider of broad-based networking systems and services, said that it expects to report fourth quarter revenues in the range of $165 to $175 million, excluding revenues from CommWorks which will be accounted for as discontinued operations.

On average, 7 analysts surveyed by First Call/Thomson Financial currently expect revenues in the range of $190 to $234 million, with a consensus estimate of $210.0 million.
