SHOCK TROOP K-9 & KENNELS
The Working Dog Wave of the Future may be here!

I have to be honest and tell all of you that I had reservations at first about another breed registry, but I was intrigued at the same time. Just think about it for a minute. A Working Dog Registry, just for working dogs! A registry that will endorse proper breeding practices that are for the betterment of our beloved Malinois breed. A breed registry who's willing to put an emphasis on the working qualities of the dogs and not just how they look and how they move when running around a circle. After all, I've said this before and I'll say it again: Life is not a fashion show! Especially not for those fighting crime out on the street and trailing dangerous felony criminals, not for those that want their family safe and their property protected, and definitely not for our government and military service members using dogs to fight the war on terror! We are in a new era where the threat of violence continues to rise. Our homes and our borders are being threatened daily. We need more quality working dogs here in America, so that we are not so dependent on the breeding programs over seas. Consider this, we have been importing dogs from Europe for years. Why is it so difficult do find good ones here in the states? Finally we have an opportunity to get behind a breed registry that will get behind it's members, so that quality working dogs here in America, no longer have to be a minority. Wouldn't it be wonderful if Europe began importing dogs from us, because we finally and collectively had it together? Wouldn't it be fantastic when the phrase, "American Bloodlines" actually meant something special in the working dog world? The Working Shepherd Breeders Association is attempting to bridge the gap that has been left open and unatended by other registries for far too long. The WSBA may just be the wave of the working dog future. I think all serious working Malinois enthusiasts should give it a shot. We can start by telling everyone that has an interest in our working dogs to go to the WSBA discussion board, log in, and start participating. Let's start registering our dogs with WSBA. Dual registration can't hurt, and it opens up a working gene pool, that we may have never known exsisted. Join me and let's get this new working dog movement... moving!
