>We had the name of 27th Jungle Eaters. I served my frist 2 months Vietnam on a mine sweep team. I had the MOS 62E20 and there was a lot turnover at the 27th, so I got the call to serve. When I started the 27th was not a company yet are suppy system sucked. I issued a M-16 that the bolt was froze, but the lack of Army regs appield to me and spent the next 17 months cutting jungle.
