That became my dad's store in the end. He was also running store #28 in Aliquippa at the same time.

It was pretty rough in that neighborhood. I remember when they were trying to gradually close that store down, the residents would continuously set the alarms off in the store all through the night. I remember lots of the alarm calls. Sometimes I even went with him when he had to go and answer the alarm calls. However, he would only go if the local police agreed to meet him there....it was that bad. I remember that during the day, the kids used to throw eggs and rocks at our car as we passed by the housing area.

In 1990, that store (#50) moved to the new Robinson location. I am not sure as to when that store originally opened. I will have to ask my dad and see if he knows.
