Dave for me was one of our best players last season. Although he was still rough around the edges he always gave 110% to the cause. This season we all expected a great deal out of Dave, but sadly he suffered an injury early doors and then struggled to back into the team. United's style of play changed as Paul was forced into making so many early changes, which made it even harder for Dave to fit back in so easily.

It's sad that Dave has had to leave, but nevertheless we wish him all the best at Prescot.
