WED-21-4-04--SKEM UTD RES 1-2 SOUTH L'POOL.H.T.0-0.GOAL-STEVE BRAY(50mins)--How Skem Res lost this match they will never know--The 1st half was one-way traffic with CAMERON,RAWSTORNE,WALLACE,BERKLEY,BRAY,ROBERTS & KING ALL HAVING CHANCES TO BREAK THE DEADLOCK.It was an injustice that the teams were level at half-time..The 2nd half was more even-Skem took an early lead,but could not get that vital 2nd goal-Cameron(twice),Roberts & Rodgers all had 1 on 1's with the South keeper but failed to convert.-As happens in footie,South struck with 2 late goals(86 & 88mins)that they did not deserve--But its goals that count.---M.O.M's--IAN WARRILLOW(at the risk of sounding boring-EXCELLENT AGAIN)-PAUL RAWSTORNE(a power house)--GARY BERKLEY(ran himself into the ground-our best wide attacking player)--TREVOR HUGHES(never stopped working).
