WED-28-4-04-SKEM UTD 3-2 LUCAS SPORTS-HT 1-2--Skem res found themselves 2-nil down after 25mins--Then Mike King reduced the arreas with a well taken cool finish from 15yds on 40mins & 3 minutes later Craig Cameron should have put Skem Res on level terms when excellent play down the left and a superb cut back from the by-line by Gaz Berkley, left Craig with a tap in, but somehow it was cleared off the line. - The 2nd half had everything, Goals- yellow cards- fouls galore- & a red card (for Lucas Sports)-- This game was like a cup tie, with nothing given or taken by either side. Skem piled on the pressure- Steve Brey hit the bar- Gaz Berkley and Paul Rawsthorne missed good openings. - Then with 5 minutes remaining- Steve Brey scored a superb goal from 25yds with his left foot into the top corner.- Then in the last minute Trevor Hughes scored the winner from the spot after Gaz Berkley was brought down when bearing down on goal... M.O.M's- TREVOR HUGHES(Gave no quarter- Outstanding), IAN WARRILOW (Ageless Marvel), STEVE BREY(Cool head-Great Finish)- WELL DONE SKEM, GREAT WIN UNDER DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES...
