You're right of course Dave Dugdale has gone 5 games without scoring, but it's really unfair to compare strikers with each other, unless you want to compare the two with Stuart Rudd?

I think the management realises it is short of a decent striker, and I'm sure they are still looking. As for Heverin, he worked his heart and soul out when playing for us, nobody can doubt his commitment. He created an extreme amount of chances for himself, but was sadly no good at putting them away. He's had plenty of opportunity of proving himself at the club. I think he scored 5 in 15 games last season which clearly isn't the form of a decent striker, that poor form continued into this season. I hope he does better at Warrington, as they clearly think a lot about him, as we did at Victoria Park. Sentiment doesn't keep teams winning alas!
