Mysterious case of yes he did sign for us...but then he decided to sign for Congleton almost immediately. And yes he is a friend of Stuart's. All very bizarre, but I can only imagine he knew people at Congleton too, and perhaps he felt he would get a better opportunity to play 1st team football. As regards to whether or not he is any good, we signed him on the blind, and as we never actually got to see him play...the jury is out so far on how good he actually is!!!
