Obviously Leon wouldn't take such a drop in wages. I wouldn't expect him to either, that was all tongue in cheek stuff!!! Leon apart; some of these prima donna's couldn't play at our level, purely because they believe they are too good to play below themselves. These days players would sooner sit on their fat wage packets & in the dugout than play football...a sad indictment on football I'm afraid. They should either turn the game amateur or cap the wages at a reasonable level, then maybe some players would realise why they started playing the game in the first place!
