I was only talking about Stuart Rudd with the Paul Gallagher (Skem Mgr) the other day and he mentioned something about Stuart being spotted. Watch this space...... I have been doing a little bit of investigation myself into these players just to give you more detail on them. Its took me weeks of probing and prying to get this info, but here you go. Franny Barry (Burscough res) - Apparently his younger brother is on the books of Everton, can you confirm this? Drew Hyland (Burscough res) - Formally of Liverpool Academy but was released when he was 16, I have been told that it was not for footballing reasons, hope my source isn't spreading rumours. Hasnt been getting much first team appearance this year but is scoring goals for fun in the reserves, might I add he is still only young as well (about 18). Span (Skem res) - His Name is Jamey Banwich, used to be part of the successful Dallas squad that participated in the Dallas Cup USA, apparently according to my link at Skem he was offered a scholarship by Colin Harveys brother Brian who runs a University over in the USA (not sure which Uni). My link says he is definately one that will progress past this level in years to come. Rog (Skem res) - You were right, his name is Paul Rodgers, quite tall with blonde hair. He is still quite young (17-18) so he could well progress to be better than your academy lads? Maybe one that will progress to your level in years to come. Apparently he was supposed to be gettin watched by a nationwide team over the xmas. Woody (Skem res) - Name is Simon Woods, at Burscough last year and went on to play for Knowsley in the Dallas squad in the USA this year. My Skem link says he had been out of action for 6 mnths prior to joining Skem as he suffered injuries in a car accident. Apparently he is regaining his fitness and its only a matter of time before he progresses. Gaz (Skem res) - Name is Garry Berkley, been at Skem for a while now and seems to drift in and out of the first team, once again like all of these lads he is still young but looks very promising for the future. My link at the club says that the current manager of the first team has his long serving favourites at the club, so thats maybe the reason why these lads arent playing regular first team footy.. Once again, thanks for your response. This information I have given you is all from good sources at both Burscough and Skelmersdale, and I can confirm that none of these lads will turn out to be Tarleton propaganda.
