Former Skem Utd favourite Kevin Leadbetter has re-signed for Southport, following his old boss Liam Watson from Runcorn. Kevin signed for Southport from Skem but never really hit it off with then Manager, Phil Wilson. Eventually after a loan period at Runcorn he was signed permanently. When Liam Watson left Runcorn there was speculation that Kev would follow, however Runcorn weren't prepared to release him until he had played in the FA Trophy game at Altrincham last weekend.

Kevin has signed a 2 and a half year contract with the Sandgrounders, and with any luck Skem should receive a percentage of the transfer fee!!!
