Subject: Voor haar

Het kind wilde gillen, in doodsangst keek ze toe,
geen geluid kwam er meer, ze was zo moe.
Niets kon ze nog opnemen in haar geteisterde geest,
aan pijn was er niets wat nog niet was geweest.
Ik besloot haar te helpen dit te overleven,
heb alles van mezelf aan haar gegeven.
Geen mens zal haar ooit nog martelen en bedreigen,
of proberen haar voor altijd te laten zwijgen.
Ik ben er voor haar, om haar pijn te ondergaan en te dragen,
ook al zal ze dat zelf nooit aan me vragen.
Ik zorg dat niemand nog aan haar kan komen,
maar ik kan niet terughalen wat haar is ontnomen...
