Does anyone have any info about the Ameshaspenta's role in Zorastrianism? Are they like angels in other religions. Because I need some informatin about them. Any help would be appreciated.

There are 2 schools of thought. One says that the amesha Spentas, are spirit beings, emanated from God (Mazda Ahura) The other says that even the name Amesha Spenta is nopt the name Zarathushtra used for these which are nothing more than ethical Aspects and essences of deity that can be shared by humans if they harmonize their lives to asha and choose accordingly/

Seeing that Zarathushtra does not use the term and that in the Haptanghaiti, were it first appears, it can simply be referring to those mortals that, having achieved Haurvatat, or Completion, are now Immortal Progressives ( Having progressed beyond the physical and being Immortal) I tend to side with this last interpretation.
