Words are like notes
That play a tune
That stir the emotions

Words are like leaves on a tree
That move with the wind
With rippling motion

Words are like fire
They crackle as they dance
in midst of night
and strike like a sword
in a raging battle.

Words...
They can heal a child's heart
with just a loving whisper
they can kill an old woman
with the wrong tone..
They can make a heart bleed
with a show of anger

Choose your words wisely
For they can be
Pearls of wisdom to a seeker
A comfort to a sad heart
A longing to a lonely soul
A joy to an open mind.....

Words are so powerful
That creation occurs
with the spoken word
For words follow thoughts
and thoughts create reality.
