I am a girlfriend ( I love these sites) of an ex NHL/AHL player. I am brunette and from the experience I've had it makes no difference what color hair a girl has. Hockey players are no different than you and me. There is no hockey player manual that says he must date a blonde. It is a decision made by one's ownself. I for example prefer dark haired men. My boyfriend prefers dark hair, but in the past he dated a blonde. It depends on looks, personality, and so on, not just hair color... So there really is no proof that hp's mainly like blondes....
