Subject: asap please help im a noob

ahhhhhhh i just started karate im 15 my hieght is 6'1 shoe siz is 16

i really need some help in class are teacher taught us how to block punch escape holds and how to wlak in karate but see the sensa wasnt teaching it was some brown belt aduilt who was a good teacher dont get me wrong but he couldnt see that we couldnt get the stepping right its called the two step slide? or something cna someone tell me howto do it again please asap
