If you bought $1000 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49. If you bought $1000 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, and traded in the cans for the nickel deposit, you would have $79. He reads the Wall Street Journal and says to buy stocks in cellular phone companies. They predict that sale of phones are going to skyrocket. I have discovered this wonderful place to put your money. It is called a "savings account"! They even give you this thing called interest so your money makes money while it sits in your account!
