A little bird told me you were having trouble with your access, I am new here and really wanna be a pleaser. BTW I am availiable to chat whenever, because I am always on. My job allows me that freedom and anything I can help you ladies with would be pleasurable. I however cannot condone stealing access to the Goo's site, so you will have to buy the damn CD! ( even Robby bought his own ) Does that get my message across?
. . . . . . .REQUIREMENTS: You need a Mac (running System 7.x or higher) or a PC (running Win 95, 98, ME, 2000 or NT) in order to access the EOAC site. Preferred browsers are Netscape 4.x or higher and IE 4.x or higher... as stated many times, you'll need cookies and javascript enabled on whatever browser you're using, and the audio and video clips require quicktime, available for free at quicktime.com. The EOAC Special Area does indeed work with AOL, but if you're having problems, we wholeheartedly suggest connecting via AOL and then switching to an installed version of Internet Explorer or Netscape rather than using AOL's built-in browser, which has a tendency to muddle things without a little tweaking.
... if the program does not run automatically when inserting the CD on your PC, don't worry! The windows autorun feature may be disabled. Simply double click on My Computer, then right click on your CD-ROM drive and select "Explore". Find the EOAC.exe program and double click it. Macintosh users should just double click on the CD-ROM icon and run the "EOAC Special Area" program.
... if you click on ACCESS and nothing happens, there may be a few reasons for this. If you are behind a firewall, you might not be able to get out to the site - see your system administrator (or not, if you're spending time at work trying to cruise the site... heh) or disable your firewall, or try again from a different computer that isn't behind a firewall. Also, try connecting to the internet and have an open browser window BEFORE running the program and clicking access.. . . . .
. . . .Some system configurations are having problems with launching the browser from the EOAC application and need that helping hand... finally, again, make sure that cookies and javascript are enabled in your browser!
Very important!
... having problems with audio / video? First, make sure you have the latest version of quicktime. Quicktime will install automatically if you don't have it, in theory, but as we all know, not everything works the way it should. You can get quicktime from quicktime.com... and if you're on a dial-up modem (also known as a slow connection), please have patience. These are higher quality audio clips and as such, they're kinda big so it might take a few before the streaming starts.. . .
... REMEMBER: ONCE YOU ARE REGISTERED, YOU WILL NOT NEED THE CD TO ACCESS THE SITE AGAIN!. . . . . So just find a computer that works for your initial registration and you'll never have to deal with the heartache again. . . .that's it. . . . have fun. . . . . . . .
