Hi Scott,

I found yesterday - while driving my car on the dark highway from Munich to Switzerland - in my TT letter box your announcement of V2.3. I just read a little bit about it and found out that you did not yet implement the security feature I asked for a few weeks ago.

I am registered user and interested in a higher security level on my palm TT. Is it too much of a fuzz to implement a button steered booting of the TT. This would be great. A combination of customized hard button taps would do. And as I use Qlaunch intensively (it's my actual launcher)I would like to have that feature from the same author in order to avoid crashing my TT when loading this function from an other developper. I don't think it's very smart to do that. How can I push you to consider that in the coming upgrade.

I recommended your app even yesterday in Munich to a friend that works in an company that uses many Palms now. If there was this security functionality in Qlaunch many more people would be interested in your product. Do you agree? Mr. Rumsfeld was in Munich yesterday too. What he thinks about my proposal, I don't know. But he was definitely interested in more security - I guess.

Secondly: I read a few minutes ago on your homepage about the problem of toggling sounds, beeps and bluetooth apps. What I understood from your post is that Palm does not deliver a necessary help. So I thought about doing it this way: by pressing a special hardware button a screen pops up offering several fields (areas of a big surface) that can be pressed by the thumb. These areas are labelled (in big letters) with "Toggl light", "Toggle Alarm sound", "Toggle BT" etc. Of cours you could write also "Alarm ON/OFF" etc.

This would make it possible to tap a hard button and then tapping a screen area with a finger. If there are six areas there would be enough room to select the corresponing app. So in 2 seconds I can toggle system calls.

Thanks for your ear. And have a nice sunday.
