The confirmation is HOLD based. Meaning that There is a confirmation for short, one for long, and one for Longer. The confirmation is not button based.

How did you delete it? Please make sure you delete it with the builtin launcher and not something like fileZ.

If you use filez it does not remove the preferences and that is why you would get the same response.

Without some sort of notification, it is hard to tell when to let up. This is what activates the applications, when you let up. If you removed a confirmation for the short which is only 1/2 seconds by default, and you hold it longer than the half second, and it goes into the long or longer time, but you have nothing mapped to those, then it will send you to the default button application.

Try turning some type of confirmation back on, one for short, one for long, and one for longer and see if it works again.

The flash really is the best one. Easy to see, does not bother anyone else, and tells you exactly when to let go of the button.
