Subject: Time to Clip An Angel's Wings

(Scene opens on the shoulder of an interstate highway in the middle of the desert. Jeeves Winchester has been assigned the daunting task of this interview, because the interview subject scares Miss Cucumber. He looks around the desert surroundings, and one word comes to mind: wasteland. He hears an approaching vehicle, and sees a black luxury car pull up, followed by a big man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He is dressed in black jeans and a black T-shirt, but his tattoo gives him away as Steve Roberts gets off the bike and comes over to Jeeves, as Lilith, dressed in dark blue hip hugger jeans and a pink sleeveless fuzzy sweater midriff top, looks on.)

Jeeves: I, say, sir, you are a mountain of a man, aren't you?

Steve: Just get to the interview, you little shit!

Jeeves: Yes, right away. Uhm, this coming Glory, you have made it to the Main Event. You are taking on The Angel of Hate, with Ronnie Dreamer, the HWA's Honorable Champion, as special guest referee. (Steve grins and laughs out loud.) Uhm, did I say something amusing?

Steve: HA HA HA HA HA!!! I thought that calling Ronnie Dreamer "special" was rather funny, yes. Now, you see, what we have here is an opportunity laid out on the table before me. I have the chance to clip an Angel's wings and, if he gets in my face, disenfranchise "The Franchise!" First thing's first, Angel.

The all-powerful Angel of Hate. Oh, look at me cower and shake in my boots!! You see, AoH, anybody can CLAIM they are a dark person, but few of us are dark enough to come with the goods when backing it up. You see, in just a few short weeks, I have taken out four nobodies... Mysterious One, Kahuna, Agony, and Bladerunner! And now, I get tossed into the spotlight, and go up against YOU, AoH! The Honorable Wrestling Association's National Champion. But I've noticed something about our match. (Steve squashed a scorpion in the dust and continues.) You seem to be this man with no fear, yet your title is not on the line. Why is this? Do you fear defending it against me? Are you scared that I would, and WILL, take it from you? I agree with Karma on this one, Angel. I say put your title on the line against me at Glory. That is, if you can get over your fear of losing it!

Jeeves: Uhm, Mister Roberts? I hate to interrupt....

Steve: (gets in Jeeves's face.) Then DON'T!!

Jeeves: I was just curious as to what part Ronnie Dreamer will play in this match, as the referee?

Steve: That's a good question, J. How YOU managed to ask it is one of life's mysteries! But, anyways, onto Dreamer it is! Oh, my mistake. Ronnie McNeil, now!

I'm sure you're furious at "Logan and his crew," as the commentators so eloquently put it. What a shame, "The Franchise" got his ass beat on Monday Night Glory. True, The Trinity came for the save, but not before you got your whuppin'! Now, at Glory you are the referee for my match against AoH! I'd be lying if I said I didn't expect you NOT to call the match fairly. After all, what do any of US know about playing fair? Still, I'll tell you what I'll do. Every time you get in my way from handling my business, Ronnie, I'll take matters into my own hands. What lengths will I go to for this? That's up to me. What will I do to you if you piss me off during that match at Glory? Again, that's up to me. The only thing YOU need to know, Dreamer, is that if you fuck with me, I'll fuck you OVER!! Now, Jeeves, if you'll excuse me, Lilith and I are expected in town. Try to avoid the scorpions and rattlesnakes around here! (Steve gets back on his bike, and Lilith drives off in the car, followed by Roberts, leaving Jeeves in a cloud of dust, as scene fades to black.)
