I am in Portland Oregon at KRSK hosting a 2 man pm drive show, next month will be a year here..prior to that i was At KKRZ as pm drive and APD. before clear channel did what they did in SLC we had single owners. In 1990 steve marriott owned KZHT then he sold it, and then it was sold again to Starley Bush. it was nice then being able to walk into the OWNERS office to talk radio. being able to have control over a playlist ( not corp. input) putting together cool contests and promotions (no group contests like today) and hitting the streets! Salt Lake was alot of fun in the years prior to consolidation and some very talented people came thru that city!thanks for bringing back some great memories...where do i send an aircheck or two? i have some hilarious old airchecks from KZHT in 1990 and 91 and some Q99 when they were CHR...
