Shauna was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She has been working for Tribune Broadcasting since March 2002, first as a “Youth Matters/Now Gen” reporter on FOX 59 A.M. and FOX 59 News at 10. Currently, Shauna is the entertainment host for WB4’s QUIK HITZ covering up-to-the-minute entertainment news.

Before coming to work at FOX in Indianapolis, Shauna freelanced as an entertainment reporter in Hollywood, California. She reported and produced for “Inside Edition,” hosted live broadcasts at the “Tomb Raider,” “America’s Sweethearts” and “Tomcats” movie premieres, traveled to Bangkok, Canada and Ireland reporting behind-the-scenes for Disney films, as well as, reporting for Sony Pictures at press junkets and red carpet events.

Outside of her broadcast work, Shauna is an endurance athlete. She recently ran and completed the Honolulu Aids Marathon where she raised $3500 for AIDS and also completed the Los Angeles Marathon in March. Before moving to L.A., Shauna was a dancer in Chicago as a “Luv-A-Bull” for the Chicago Bulls basketball team. She has also had fun dabbling in stand-up comedy and substitute teaching while living in Los Angeles.

Shauna attended the University of Missouri where she earned a BA in Broadcast Communications, as well as, completing a Spanish Minor at the University of Chaminade, in Madrid, Spain.
