IN SALT LAKE MILLS CRENSHAW CHARGED WITH TAX EVASION

(January 21, 2002 9:30am) Mills Crenshaw, a long time morning show host on KTALK (KTKK-AM) in Salt Lake City was charged Friday with tax evasion by the Utah Attorney General's Office. Crenshaw is famous for leading thousands of people in a a tax protest rally at the state Capitol in 1987. The charges include four felony counts of tax evasion including charges of failing to file tax returns for 1997 and 1998, and willful evasion for the same years.

By the way, I've heard rumors that 820 AM (KUTR) may be home to an LDS music format similar to the original KUTR stations on 860 and 1320.
