Henry-All of us that work in the buisness miss the old days when you had live bodies on around the clock. The simple fact is those days are over! It costs too much money. And when your a buisness owner or a radio station owner...it's all about the bottom line. Why do you think you have KFC,PIZZA HUT, and TACO BELL under one roof now? They save and make more money doing it that way!

It works the same in radio. You put 6,7, or 8 radio stations under one roof, hire a handfull of people to run them, and cut your costs! Now lets be real, if you didn't know Randi or Nikki or Dave Rosen, or Scott Tyler we're voicetracked you could not tell the difference. And believe me the aveage listener does not have a clue, and probably does not care if the dj they are listening is live & Local.

If you we're a business owner you would do the same thing as these large companies. So stop your crying about how radio isn't live and local anymore, that's the way it is EVERYWHERE!! And there is nothing you can do about it.
