Yes, if I owned a station it would be live AT LEAST during arbitron hours (5a-Midnight), if not 24/7.

Really, how much does it cost? If you run ONE spot, that alone almost pays the DJ's salary for that hour, at least for the shifts that are currently tracked.

And don't say you can't afford it. KSOP and the Breeze both play a whole lot less commercials than anyone else on the dial, yet they have BY FAR the most live airstaff. KSOP's airstaff is huge. Ever see their web page? And they don't play as many commercials as K102, and they only have what, 2 people running the whole station.

That's not a nessecity, that's greed.
