Ok Jake stone and other Millcreek Employees to feel the need to go on here and back YO boy, can we Please be honest....first of all I find it funny that whoever posts as "Princess" and "Jake Stone Fan" and "TK" are all such big fans, yet non of them have the balls to actually post a real name or email address....could it be that jake stone has recruited his friends to post on this site so it will boost his ego......Please be honest Jake you are a far cry from a "Good" DJ, you have so much work to do it is amazing to me that you are even on anything BUT overnight weekends, That shows why Millcreek will never win, inferior product, inferior talent....not everyone....but the majority of Millcreek employees are people that they get locally for $7 bucks a hour or small market jocks willing to work for next to nothing....yes I know cause I put in time in that building....thankfully I got out quick......continuing.....Ok jake I figure since i am in a position where i aircheck jocks I would give you the benefit and here are aome tips I can pass along........First of all LOOSE the crutch....could you say Alright a few more times in a break....we cant answer you so stop asking.....2ndly....Top40 is all about foreward momentun, dont backsell every song.....breaks should start out "POWER1079 Utah's Hit music station" not Daniel Beddingfeild is on Power....... Ok you are saying the artist of a song that is over and then rushing through the station and positioning statement....your delevery is OK, but yopu need to be proud...I know it is hard...but be proud of what station you are on and say it loud and clear....3rdly..A request should take place before you start a song.eg..can I request a song...yeah...jayz (start song) sure.....finish break...NOT..(start song) can I request.....this is a major no no....sounds amature and you do it ALOT!!!!.....I never like to give a jock too much to work on at one time but since aparently no one in that building is gonna tell you i will continue.....you are doing afternoon drive for the most part you are background noise to people at work....remember this, no one at work wants to hear you stop the music to do a bit...especially if it doesnt relatr to them..ie...no bits about kids or kid stuff....keep this off the air or save it for the weekend remember who you are talking to and I urge you to ask yopurself would a 29 year old mom think this is funny? or just stupid and or offensive?????? YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE!!!!! and you are not relating to them...finally jake I will say this if you need to script out a break do it know what you are gonna say BEFORE you open the mic...you sound lost....ALOT....Jake you can work on these things and you will be a better jock...or just keep doing what you ae doing and when Simmons buys your station you will be out on your ear..all my best...SPY HUNTER
