"If Rusty had a clue how to operate his computer automation system, he would have someone vt a saturday night all request show on KBEE, with canned calls and everyhting. At least you could create the image someone was on live taking calls, and playing requests. CC does a great job with this kind of thing. KBEE could learn a lot from CC's voicetracking system."

Great! Canned shows? And you people say we aren't justified in complaining that radio has deteriorated!

If this is what radio's future is it's a bleak and pathetic industry as far as I'm concerned.

Because sir, not only is that greed, and destroying the bottom three or four rungs from the latter that all that work in the industry started from, but it's also decieving your listeners.

Don't trade you listeners for $50. It's not worth it. Listsners will never quite become attached to a VTed DJ. You can't call a VTed DJ, among other things. I know the first times I started to catch onto a VTer, it was wierd. It was as though everything SOUNDED fine, but something seemed missing. Come to find out that I was listening to a computer basically. How dissappointing is that?

I'm sorry, but I truely believe that 9/10 VTing is used for the wrong purpose . . . money. Make more money by using voicetracking.

I'm sorry, but that's wrong. If this is what the industry is coming to then radio's excitement will fizzle out and die.

I hope radio makes it through this dark hour.
