Rockett & Erica were taken to a secret cloning facility near Area 51, co-owned by CCU, The Raelians, and Art Bell. The first cloning attempt was successful, and those clones, code names Dexter & Mercedes, were put to work at Kiss. Clear Channel researchers determined that listeners prefer live bodies in studios rather than voicetracking, and cloning gives them the best of both worlds. Eventually about 1/3 of the Kiss stations nationwide will have Rockett & Erica clones doing mornings, while Rockett & Erica themselves will be doing mornings in Clear Channel's new Baghdad cluster, although some technical issues need to be worked out before that facility can actually open.
