Subject: ZZR1100 - Help ..... Icing in me carbs !!

G'day all,

Got a ZZR1100D6, when ever I go out at anything below about 5degrees I get carb icing within about 10miles on the motorway. Disater!!

The bike has carb heating pipes which I thought stopped it but they dont, they look clear and the filter.

I was told to put some addative in the fule tank but feel naffed off with this option every time I fill up and it apparently costs £8 a bottle.

Does anyone else suffer, any one got a solution as it seems bloody dangerous!
