Cheers for that Richard, i got the servis manual on Cd too offa ebay, its a good piece of kit.
Looks like i will whip em apart once the seals come and make the tool at work with the mig welder. i think top up is 450ml or 420ml, but like you said it does give a measurement from the fork top too.
looks like its time to get the spanners out .



did my fork seals a few months ago. The acutal
