we know the carb tops are restricted on the ZZR1100.
but whats the difference in BHP?

I have just got a set of Flat Tops, and its only slightly noticeable power difference. But my original carb tops only have a slightly raised section on them, i am wondering if there were two different types of restricted tops.

The original tops Propelled the bike to well over 175MPH (indicated) 2 up, and lifted the front wheel slightly on excel. i aint done a top speed run yet cos i aint in the isle of man ( honest officer) but the front wheel still only lifts the same amount.

theres now better "snap" on the throttle at mid to high revs but i wouldnt say its spinning the rear anymore.

Anyone with any info on the topic?
