Assuming you mean "how do I join the ZZR Riders Club?". Firstly go to; www.zzr-riders-club.co.uk. then click on: "Try the new site map" then click on "About us and how to join" you can then download an application form in either Word or PDF format.
Haynes manuals; basically any source, I cannot say if one is better than another, although I know that if you are a member of the IAM there is a discount (I think 15%) and free postage.
Finally, the dreaded cold running problem. First port of call is the coolant filter, an in-line thingy found under the petrol tank, but you can just about pull the thing out from the nearside of the machine near the fuel tap. The book reckons that it is a grey plastic item but my 93 D1 had a brass unit. If you reverse flush the thing or take apart and clean (if you can)then your problems may well be over.
