Subject: PLEASE HELP - Suspension Settings

I need some advice from those in the know. I am reasonably new to biking and just as new to my ZZR 600 and I am just about to embark on my first tour, around Ireland (mad I know in this weather!). It will be me (around 14 stone), my pillion (around 10 stone (she'll kill me!)) and luggage in the form of panniers and tank bag. I "think" my suspension is set to standard (how do I check?), will it need to be adjusted for the journey? Any ideas on tyre pressures? Anyone in the North West good at setting up suspension (and cheap)? I'm in a pickle, please help.
