In Which You Differ From The Sun.

There you are again,
stepping out of the cruel darkness,
that held you imprisoned,
hidden away
from my craving eyes,
that were mourning in black,
yearning for the day,
my retina's nerves,
would be able to confirm
the return of your Light.

Oh yes, the sun did rise
did show me
the difference
between day and night,
did shower me
by throwing her golden rays
more lusciously than ever,
though somehow
she always seemed to shine
from behind the clouds,
drawn grey curtains
with a fine golden lining.

Oh yes, the sun did rise
did show me
the difference
between warm and cold,
did comfort me
by throwing her snugness
more overwhelming than ever,
though somehow
she always seemed to stay
at the outside of me,
withdrawn and too weak,
to break through the surface
of my blue freshness.

Oh yes, the sun did rise
did show me
the difference
between seconds and hours,
did mature me
by throwing her timetable
more emphasized than ever,
though somehow
she always seemed to stow
more seconds in a minute
streching the hours to dragging
as if they were made
of rubber nerves.

The second you appeared
all weirdnesses went away,
just so and somehow it's
as if the sun got cured
in a miraculous way;
snow and ice melt again,
as if somebody opened the curtains,
turned up sky's golden heater,
oiled the clockwork, smoothing time.

Though one difference
between you and her
will always remain;
She will never ever
shine bright,
shine warm,
shine timeless,
at the inside of my heart,
like only you can do.
