Russeli kehittyy päältään hitaammin luolatouhuihin kuin kuumemmat mustat kolleegansa.Vaatii isännältä pelisilmää seurata koska koira alkaa olla tarpeeksi aikuinen tositoimiin.Ei kannata ehdoin tahdoin koittaa mitä se kestää vaan aloittaa helpoilla ja turvallisilla kokemuksilla.
Sitten kun pää alkaa kestää niin silloin on aika koitaa kovempiakin vastustajia.
Ja nämä ajat on sitten yksilöllisiä.Toinen kestää jo alle vuodenkin ikäisenä saada vähän nenilleen,toinen puolitoista ja toki jotkut ei sitten koskaan.
Edelleenkin on maltti valttia luolakoiran kasvatuksessa.
