I caught a replay last night and it's heartwrenching, but how could it not be. 95% of the actors in it cry through most of it, but given the situations it's hardly unbelievable. It's based on interviews and audio recordings, but obviously a lot is left to interpretation and those little bits can be nitpicked 'til the end of time. How did the passengers fight back? Did they make it in the cockpit? Whatever. The point is the plane did not make its final destination and for that, they are heroes.

As for whether the movie should've been made or is in poor taste, if we can't make movies about 9/11, then let's not make movies about Pearl Harbor, Vietnam, or any other war movie based on true events. The story needs to be told and Hollywood will be telling it again later from what I understand in theaters. (This is obviously a made-for-TV movie based on acting and effects). If anything, this movie should be played on a loop in Bush's bedroom to show him that at least somebody did a damn thing about 9/11. It's ironic that part of it was going against the State of the Union. There was more truth in a fictionalized TV movie than what I heard in the SOTU.
