I had such high expectations for this film: directed by a guy from the porn industry, Glen Jacob's feature role debut, a bunch of no-names getting their eyes plucked out and boobies. You really can't ask for much more than that.

There are some clever death scenes, but they seem almost comical and that really isn't the vibe they were going for. This was supposed to be an out-and-out gorefest but they are too many snicker and chuckle moments. Kane is serviceable as the killer. He isn't given much to say and has to convey quite a bit of feeling and emotion with only the furrowing of his brow. That is a tough task for Kane, let me tell you.

Perhaps someone can explain why juvenile delinquents would want to party, have sex and swim in a delapidated, burned-out, vermin-infested hotel. Seriously, the place where Kane makes his residence is one of the biggest shitholes of all time and these idiots decide that it's the best place for doing drugs and doing the horizontal mambo. They also think there is buried treasure in this dump. Makes you want to root for Kane doesn't it?
