Actually, this film is going to be based more on the book that the first Willy Wonka film. The first movie was very different from the book. Johnny Depp (who does wonderful in any role he takes on) will be perfect for the part. And if Tim Burton (who is bloody brilliant!) decides to do a stop-motion animation style in Willy Wonka, I couldn't back him more. That would be amazing! Positively wonderful!I believe he'll do grand on this film.

And about his other films, Sleepy Hollow, while the story was nothing much, was a visualists movie. It was made simply for the style, which was nothing short of positively beautiful and original. Ed Wood wasn't overrated. Not in the public's eye. If anything, it was underrated. Beetlejuice was totally unique. It was different, it was.... wierd. Not many movies are like that anymore, so I have to say I love it.

Edward Scissorhands... what can I say about this film except it is the most misunderstood movie I've ever seen. Most people didn't even recieve the message of what the movie was about-- which was not being able to touch someone without harming them. It was also mocking humanity, which I loved.

Tim Burton is one of the best directors out there. Some people argue that because of Planet of the Apes (The producers told him he was supposed to make it a normal film and stay true to the original, and it was very difficult to make a sequel to that. I'm satisfied with it, b/c I can't see how it could be better.) Big Fish is going to rock, I can't wait for Willy Wonka, and The Corpse Bride will be grand.
