Subject: Arrested Development First Season

So I had never seen an episode of Arrested Development but heard it was the funniest thing since Seinfeld. I was out shopping the other day, blowing the remainder of my X-mas money and picked up the first season on DVD. I put away the 22 episode set in a matter of hours as I couldn't stop watching it.

The show's just fantastic and screamingly funny. The episode in which guest star Julia Louis-Dreyfus is revealed to not be a blind attorney but her seeing eye dog IS blind is rather hysterical. A scene where dog jumps off a table at a vet clinic and into a trash can at the end of the table nearly had me wearing wet drawers.

Not since Seinfeld has such a cast of flawed characters been so memorable and laughable. This show has pretty much redefined the sit-com as we have known it the last decade. There are no lovable schlubs on this show. All the characters are disgusting in one way or another, even the true blue character played by Jason Bateman has his moments of chicanery. But their flaws are what keeps the show running. You must watch this show!
